  • Worked in Capital Metro’s Marketing Department creating a variety of marketing materials including brochures, web banners, promotional items, placards, PowerPoint presentations and vehicle graphics. Communicated internally and externally to deliver high-quality designs on time and in accordance to the Capital Metro brand.
  • Developed maps, schedule brochures, bus stop signage, the Destinations schedule guide and other customer-facing materials for Capital Metro's three annual service changes.
  • Performed miscellaneous tasks such as designing and developing e-mail communications, photographing internal events and offering technical support and advice to colleagues.

Morris Communications (Cowboy Publishing Group)

  • Established the magazine’s visual brand and designed all editorial pages of the monthly publication. Oversaw stories throughout the production process, scanned photos, performed photo editing/compositing/color correction, created illustrations, developed mock-ups and prepared PDFs for print.
  • Collaborated with others and prioritized tasks under tight deadlines in a busy office that produced multiple publications including Western Horseman, Quarter Horse News, and Alaska magazines.
  • Created advertisements, flyers, media kits, business cards, logos, web banners, direct mail pieces and other marketing materials to help promote the brands of various publications within the company. Also formed the visual identities of miscellaneous special projects including digital magazines, e-mail newsletters and special publications.

  • Excelled in a dynamic workplace that required constant adjusting to the news of the day. Designed the Metro cover, helped choose story placement within the local news section, delegated pages to coworkers, trained employees and often trimmed stories and wrote headlines under strict deadlines.
